On Saturday night Hallie had her first dance recital at the Egyptian Theater in Ogden. She did such a good job! She knew all her steps and some of the girls in her class were looking to her to know what to do. She got 2 trophies. One for participation and one for perfect attendance. It was a very well done performance with LOTS of dancers, so it was pretty long. It was by far a more formal performance than I have ever done in my lifetime! She was so excited for it that she woke up at 6am. She looked so beautiful on stage! Like most dance recitals these days we were not allowed to video tape, but can buy a professionally filmed DVD. So the video is from the dress rehearsal the day before. Hallie did very well at dress rehearsal but did even better in the actual performance. She is the forth girl from the right. Thanks for sharing! Hallie did a great job and really got into that second dance. Wish we could have been there.
