Hallie's big surprise!

Hallie has always said she wants to get her ears pierced and we have always told her it's her choice whenever she's ready she can do it. Or if she doesn't ever want them done that's fine too. Well lately she's been talking about it a lot. She told me that I should have done it when she was a baby and then she wouldn't have to remember it. We've been offering every time we got to the mall, but she always declined. Jake took her to the mall to do some Christmas shopping yesterday and he asked and she ended up actually getting them pierced! They didn't tell me, Jake just told me he got me a surprise at the mall. When they got home she was giggling and covering her ears. I knew right away what the surprise was. She looks so grown up and now we can get her some earrings for Christmas! She picked december's birth stone because it's her favorite color and since she got them pierced in December. Even though her birthday is in April and her birthstone is a diamond! Ha Ha she makes me laugh!
